Buckhead Shore: Who is DJ Simmons?
One of the stars of Buckhead Shore, DJ Simmons, is well known by the name “music royalty.”
He is recognized as the son of Daryl Simmons, a Grammy-winning music producer/songwriter.
His short bio
Simmons was born on November 11, 1997, in Atlanta, Georgia. He stands tall at a height of 5 feet 10 inches.

Although he graduated from North Gwinnett High School, he attended Northview High School.
Who are DJ Simmons’ parents?
DJ Simmons is the son of Daryl Simmons, an American R&B musician, songwriter, record producer, and Sherry Beal Brown.
Unfortunately, his parents are no longer together.

His mother, Sherry Beal Brown, is now married to her husband, Armond W. Brown, for six years.
In September 2021, they commemorated their sixth wedding anniversary.
Sadly, Sherry’s parents aren’t alive to cherish their daughter’s beautiful relationship.
Her father died when she was just 12 years old on September 9, 1971, and she lost her mother in 2007. After almost a decade, she again had to lose another family member; this time, it was her brother Billy Beal.
As a part of the family, she has two sisters, Kathy Hayes and Murlett Alexander.

Talking about his father, Daryl Simmons is a famous American musician. He is well recognized for his collaboration with Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds and L.A. Reid, the LaFace Records producing team.
He even received a Grammy in 1993 for co-writing and co-producing the song “End of the Road” by Boyz II Men. He has also received five additional Grammy nominations in the Best R&B category.

DJ Simmons wants to be a musician
In an interview with DJ, he talked about recording songs with one of his co-stars and attempting to focus on making music while filming MTV’s Buckhead Shore.

DJ said to Distractify that he admires his father’s achievement and hopes to achieve it as a musician.
He said,
“I’m a songwriter as well, trying to follow in his footsteps. At the same time, I’m talented as hell. And I’m dope as hell. Me and Pat [Muresan, of Buckhead Shore] have worked on music as well. We’re just trying to figure it out, you know, the process of everything. You guys will see that this season.”
Who is DJ Simmons dating?
DJ Simmons and Bethania Locke, a fellow cast member of Buckhead Shore, had a romantic relationship a while before the show started.
But, one of his Facebook posts revealed that he has moved on with a new relationship. According to his post, he is dating a girl named Devon Wilkinson.

Previously, DJ had a committed relationship with his former partner Cara Rotundo. They have been dating since at least 2018.
Facts about him
DJ resides in Atlanta and is a major supporter of Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers.
