7 Little Johnstons: Who is Emma Johnston?
Since the debut of the show ‘7 Little Johnstons,’ TLC fans have seen seven little people, all having achondroplasia dwarfism, live relatively everyday life.
The show features Amber and Trent Johnston alongside their five children – two biological and three adopted.
Emma Johnston is one of the adopted children, who was five years old when the Johnston couple welcomed her into the family.
Upon adoption, she rose to prominence thanks to her appearance in the television series 7 Little Johnstons.
17-year-old Emma Johnston was adopted from China when she was just five years old. She was the last adoption for the family.
It wasn’t that simple for Amber and Trent to adopt Emma when they travelled to China in 2010. They took a plane to Beijing, then a two-hour train to the orphanage where Emma resided.

They got to know each other for five days before travelling to Guangzhou to complete the adoption papers. Then they took a flight back to the United States.
She had a tantrum when they left the orphanage, but as soon as they got home, she fit right in.
Emma Johnston has a prosperous Etsy site where she sells handcrafted jewellery.
Customers praised Emma’s items for their excellent quality and her assistance when they had minor problems.
To date, she has made more than 1,300 sales. According to Reality Titbit, Emma may have already made over $45,000 from her side business if she generally charges $40 for each statement item.
Emma Johnston’s passion for cheering was well-known and even chronicled on social media by fans; the show’s official Twitter account shared a photo of her following practice in 2018.

She was surprised and delighted to learn that she had been named co-captain after serving on the team for over a year and making everyone seem reasonable.
Emma first thought she was too bashful to help with team leadership, but her teacher thought she was more than capable.
The reality star, however, was forced to put her passion on hold in 2022.
Emma’s secret battle with an autoimmune condition was made public during a Season 8 episode of “7 Little Johnstons” when her older sister Elizabeth, pursuing a career as a nurse, was permitted to give Emma her medication.

According to her mother, Amber,
“A few years ago, Emma was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease and has been undergoing injections. And normally, I give her the injection. However, today, I was like, ‘Hey, let Elizabeth do it. She does this at work, she can do it.”
Thankfully, Elizabeth’s approach was delicate and gradual.
