Tebogo Thobejane’s plastic surgery is a hot topic!

Not all celebrities will admit to going under the knife but Tebogo Thobejane has.

Tebogo Thobejane, a YouTuber and actress, is known for her role as Belinda on SABC 2’s TV soap opera Muvhango.

She is, perhaps, best known for her hourglass-shaped gorgeous body and her sultry posts on the ‘tebogocthobejane‘ Instagram account.

The AFDA graduate announced on social media that she’ll be hosting the new YouTube show called City Girls, which is produced by Podcast and Chill’s network.

The show attempts to educate women on business, cosmetic or plastic surgery, and how to attract wealthy men.

People have been eager to know whether Tebogo Thobejane’s curvaceous body is the result of plastic surgery.

So, has the Instagram model gone under the knife? Let’s find out:

Tebogo urges influencers to speak the ‘truth’ about their body

The mother-of-one doesn’t mind being dubbed a slay queen, but the “selling” of false expectations on social media platforms, which she believes is not only unethical but also dangerous for the youth, makes her blood boil.

Thobejane admits that she isn’t perfect either but urges influencers to give people a realistic approach to life. In an interview with Yaza, she said:

“Nobody is perfect and you can’t buy into perfection. Sometimes you go out and you get drunk, sometimes you fall, sometimes you get up, other times you fall in love… It’s this whole perception of making the world unrealistic that leaves young people lost.”

The 39-year-old businesswoman continued:

“These young girls get lost and end up doing things that are unnecessary. Girls get sick while trying to secure a bag is actually unrealistic. They have no actual idea of what some of the girls they look up to actually have to do to have what they have.”

Thobejane, who has been making a fortune out of influencer gigs, added:

“It’s very important, to tell the truth – obviously I’m not saying lay your whole life out on social media – but at least be realistic. If we don’t do that, we will be the reason young girls get depressed and commit suicide.”

Has Tebogo Thobejane had plastic surgery on her body?

While Thobejane claims that she has never had any work done on her body, she admitted that she had liposuction after giving birth to her baby.

Liposuction is a surgical procedure that removes fat using a suction technique from specific parts of the body, such as the belly, hips, thighs, buttocks, arms, or neck.

Thobejane said:

“I love my body and people go as far as having plastic surgery to get a body like mine but in the same breath, I don’t want to lie to people and say that I have never had any work done (on my body). I have touched on this before but I had liposuction after my baby was born.”

The City Girls host revealed that the surgery was a gift to herself for her 31st birthday.

She explained that she had excess skin after giving birth to her baby and the surgery made her feel confident.

She told:

“I had excess skin after giving birth and I decided to do it as a gift for what my body had achieved. It helped my confidence a lot. I am as human as the next woman and I would never want anyone to think I carried a baby and then snapped back into a snatched waist naturally when that wasn’t the case. I had a young mkhabanyane after my baby, as most women do.”

However, Thobejane considers herself fortunate because her dream body was primarily a God-given gift, according to her.

That doesn’t mean she ever wanted young girls who looked up to her to think less of themselves because they didn’t have her body type.
