Still Best Friends: Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia fell for the same guy?

The Bachelorette’s newest season is already airing, and given that, for the first time in the program’s history, two bachelorettes will lead for the whole season. Both Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia have been revealed as the show’s stars for season 19.

Gabby Windey: Who Is She?

Gabby is a TV personality best known for her appearance in the 26th season of The Bachelor.

Gabby is an Illinois native.

Gabby was born to parents Patrick Windey and Rosemary Hewitt on January 2, 1991.

She doesn’t get along with her mother, but Gabby and her father are very close.

A cheerleader for the NFL

For five years, she cheered for the Denver Broncos in the NFL. She was given the Pop Warned Humanitarian award the previous year for her dedication to assisting people off the field.

She became the first female recipient of the accolade, usually granted to NFL players.

Working as an ICU nurse

The 31-year-old has been working at Aurora’s UCHealth University of Colorado Hospital since 22.

Being a nurse has always been her passion. According to a video released on Instagram, Windey stated recently on the “Bachelor” podcast “Talking It Out”: “I’m grateful to have given back.”

Who is Rachel Recchia?

Both a pilot and a flight instructor, Rachel is a serious snacker and a self-described “hopeless romantic,” which may speak more to her character.

Resides in Florida

Rachel was born in Chicago but presently resides in Clermont, Florida. On her Instagram, she wrote, “Fun fact, I was born and raised in Chicago and only moved to Florida when I was a teenager #chicagoforever #gocubsgo.”

She is a pilot

According to her Instagram account, the 26-year-old is a professional pilot and flight instructor.

She frequently takes flights with her close friend Nate Bulle, who can be seen in many of her pictures.

A college cheerleader

As a student at Ohio University, Rachel participated in the cheering squad. She shared several pictures of herself on the field and with her cheerleader comrades on Instagram in 2014 and 2015.

What Happens When They Like The Same Guy?

Well, given all the attention they have been receiving, many questions like this have been asked, and they are tired of having to respond to the question.

Talking to Glamour, Rachel Recchia stated,

“We’re going to figure it out, and you guys are going to see how it all works. So we’re excited for everyone to see that because it’s definitely a big question right now.”

The 26-year-old further added,

“We have such a good relationship, and we had a good relationship coming into it. We knew we were dating the same pool of men and that we would be talking to each other throughout the whole thing. So there was never a point where we were like, “Okay, so if this happens….” It was just naturally talking to each other, as things came up.”

Likewise, Gabby Windey also responded by saying,

“We’re both really understanding people. Of course, we’re going to kiss some of the same guys. Of course, we’re going to have some similar interests. That’s just normal. Time really does progress, and the journey gets more complicated and deeper. In the beginning, we were just taking one step at a time and seeing what would arise, tackle that, and move on.”

Similarly, in response to the question about this potentially contentious situation, the co-leads told E! News Daily Pop that while they ended up showing interest in some of the same guys, there was no tension.
