Who is Alexis Knief – Timothy Olyphant’s wife?
Alexis Knief is an actress who has starred in the television programs “Deadwood” and “Justified,” as well as the films “Gone in 60 Seconds,” and “The Crazies.”
She gained the limelight when she married actor and producer Timothy Olyphant in 1991.
Knief has been married to Olyphant for over three decades, but she has kept her personal life private.
So, let’s go into some of the more obscure aspects of her personal life, including her family and so on.
Knief and Olyphant met in 1990 during their undergraduate days. The two quickly became friends and went on their first date shortly after.
They dated for about a year before getting married in July 1991. They exchanged vows in a private ceremony attended by friends and family.
In an interview with Women’s Health in 2011, Olyphant spilled the beans on the secret to their long-running marriage. He told the publication,
“You have to be with the right person, and you both have to be willing to do the work, day in and day out, to make it happen.”
The couple shares incredible chemistry and a fantastic sense of humor in common. Their marriage is unique, and they serve as an example to other Hollywood couples.

Knief and Olyphant have welcomed three children together, two daughters and a son.
Their first child, Grace Katherine, was born in 1999, nearly eight years after their marriage.
She attends California Polytechnic State University to study Business Administration. She presently works at the Savage X Fenty Creative Studio as an intern.
Their second child, Henry, was born in 2001, and their third child, a daughter named Vivian, was born in 2003.
The family of five is currently residing in West Hollywood, Los Angeles.
Even though the couple has been married for over three decades, there have been a few divorce rumors, primarily fostered by the media, tabloids, and even Olyphant himself.
After Olyphant was photographed wearing his wedding ring on his right hand instead of his left, tabloid speculations began to circulate that the actor was unhappy and that a divorce was imminent.
However, Timothy clarified that he preferred to wear his wedding band on his right hand over his left, putting an end to the speculations for the time being.
The joke reemerged when Olyphant quipped that if he won an Emmy Award for his part as Raylan Givens in the film “Justified,” he would divorce his wife.
Olyphant joked to TV presenter Conan O’Brien:
“Kyle Chandler won the Emmy award, it was lovely, I was very happy for him. My opening line — this was my wife’s idea actually — I was going to look at [the trophy] and then look out at my wife of twenty years and say, ‘Well, honey, this is it. I’m finally leaving you.”
Despite the long-running divorce joke, the couple has been happily married for over 30 years and shows no signs of parting anytime soon.
