When did Melanie and Johnny tie the knot?
The only reason why people are curious about Melaine is that she is the ex-wife of Johnny Knoxville.
The former love birds first met each other in the early 1990s after Melaine moved to LA.
After dating for a couple of years, the duo tied the knot on May 15, 1995, in the Elvis Chapel in Las Vegas.

The couple reportedly had a cheap second-rate wedding.
This was all because Johnny had wasted all the money on gambling before their wedding.

Do Melanie and Johnny have any children?
The former couple shares a daughter together.
After one year of marriage, they welcomed their first child a baby girl named Madison Tatiana Clapp in 1996.

Their daughter attended Oakwood School.
However, information regarding her personal and professional life is yet to be known.
Divorced after a decade – the reason behind their split
Melanie and her ex-husband, Johnny, decided to separate from each other after 12 years of marriage.
After a long-married life, they came to a situation where they decided not to live with each other.
Johnny filed for divorce from Melanie in June 2007, stating unresolved issues.
The ex-lovebirds split up in July 2006, according to his paperwork.
The Jackass actor requested joint custody of his then-11-year-old daughter, Madison.
Their divorce was finalized in March 2008.

The reason behind Johnny Knoxville and Melanie’s divorce has not been revealed.
Even after more than a decade, they have stayed silent about what caused them to end what appeared to be a beautiful marriage.
However, in early 2020, the public likely received the answer after singer Jessica Simpson freely discussed her affair with Johnny.
Simpson revealed her affair with The Dukes of Hazzard co-star in her biography, Open Book.
She did, however, make it plain that their relationship was purely emotional. She told:
“First off, were both married, so this wasn’t going to get physical. But to me, emotional affair was worse than a physical one. It’s funny, i know because i had placed such an emphasis on s*x by not having it before marriage.”
Though Melanie and Johnny are no more together, they do their best to co-parent their daughter.
